Scrambled tofu

Writer's picture: Paulina WojciechowskaPaulina Wojciechowska

Generally I do not eat tofu or tempeh. But there comes a time when I simply feel like it.

I have made a scrambled tofu which is (OMG!!!) heavenly tasty!

Catch the recipe:

- 1 smoked tofu

- vegan yoghurt

- chopped: tomatoes, basil, chives, red paprika

- freshly grounded black pepper

- 1/2-1 spoon of turmeric

- Kala Namak salt

- coconut oil

Melt the coconut oil on a saucepan. Crumble tofu and fry for a few minutes. Add 3-4 spoons of vegan yoghurt and stir. Add chopped tomatoes, basil, chives and red paprika and fry for a minute or two.

Ready! Serve on a plate with fresh vegetables and/or salat. Enjoy!

P.S. Remember that both tofu (a high protein product) and anything fried are very hard to digest and eliminate from the GI track. Eat it with gratitude, without prickles of conscious, but in moderation (from time to time only)!
